Reel viewers vs reach: which line to order
Instagram now leads with viewers on new Reels. Reach still exists — here is how to pick the right catalog line.
Instagram now leads many Reels with a viewers count. Reach still exists on older posts and some feed formats. Before you buy, open the service card and read the name — “viewers”, “reach”, and “plays” are not interchangeable.
Use viewers when the goal is the Reel play counter. Use reach when you need unique accounts, not repeat plays. If a line says “high throughput” it is usually cheaper plays, not unique people.
On Lumen, check min, max, and speed on the card, then paste a public Reel URL. Start with a small test quantity so you can see which counter moved before you scale.
